Matrox GXM – Externe Multi-Display-Upgrades für Laptops und PCs
- Matrox Grafik-Erweiterungs-Module (GXM) sind lüfterlose Dual- oder Triple-Display-Erweiterungen für Laptop oder Desktop Computer. Der Anschluss erfolgt extern an den Thunderbolt™, DisplayPort, Dual-Link-DVI- oder VGA-Ausgang, ohne Öffnen des PCs.
- Für das Betriebssystem und somit alle Software-Applikationen (2D, 3D, Video) ist ein Matrox GXM effektiv nur ein einzelner Monitor, aber mit horizontal doppelter (DualHead2Go) oder dreifacher (TripleHead2Go) Auflösung.
- Ein Matrox GXM teilt das Eingangssignal nur auf die jeweiligen Ausgänge auf, ohne Pixeladdition, Verformung oder Skalierung.
- Die umfangreiche Matrox PowerDesk Software hilft z.B. bei der Anordnung der Programmfenster auf dem Desktop.
- Ein Matrox GXM nutzt die vorhandene Grafikhardware* für eine native GPU-Beschleunigung im Fenster oder Vollbild über alle angeschlossenen Displays (Stretched/Spanned Taskbar) - OHNE Kompression!
